Admission Criteria

Enrollment date for the program is found in the Student Packet.

Admission Criteria

Admission is based on registration and is a first come basis due to class size and availability of equipment. Students are required to participate and pass, a basic reading and dexterity evaluation prior to admission.

Admission Deadline

Students are required to submit an application, proof of immunization and physical, verification of high school diploma or equivalent to the program office along with established financial arrangements before 1st day of class.

Selection

Students will be notified by letter, phone or email of admission selection prior to enrollment and receipt of program application and program information.

Terms of a Rejected Application

An incomplete application

Falsified Application

Any student with physical or emotional health issues which may impair their ability to provide a safe care to the public.

No proof of high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)

No proof of an immunization or adult physical.

Note: Students with a criminal background are STRONGLY advised to contact the Administrator’s Office as well as the CDT licensing agency to discuss potential restrictions or impediments to licensure, certification, or employment.
