Q. How long is the program?

A. Our program is one - year consisting of four semesters of classroom, laboratory training and instruction.

 

Q. Are part-time classes available?

A. Part- time classes are not currently available. We are looking forward to offering part-time classes in the near future.

 

Q. What will I receive upon completion of the program?

A. Upon completion of our program you will receive a Dental Laboratory Technician Certificate of Completion.

 

Q. What will lab courses enable me to do?

A. Produce quality dental prosthetics based on written orders from a dentist.

 

Q. What type of employment will a graduate be qualified for?

A. Employment in laboratories, dental offices, hospitals, in home dental laboratories, managerial and supervisory positions in large dental laboratories.

 

Q. What is the nature of the occupation?

A. The technician will be trained to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks:  Cast plaster models of dentures to be repaired, select and mount replacement teeth, rebuild denture linings, etc.

 

Q. What is the cost of the program?

A. The cost of a twelve-month, four-semester, Denture Technology program is $10,000.00.

 

Q. Is financial aid available?

A. No federal or state financial aid is currently available. Other loans, state program assistance, grants, vouchers, scholarships, and payment options will be discussed upon admission to the program.
